The reputation behind Captain America goes without saying. This is America’s first major super hero from Marvel comics with a patriotic sense of duty. What Steve Rogers (Captain America) lacked in muscle, he made up with it in heart before he mixed his DNA with the super serum and turned into a super soldier.
This was a great comic to come out on the brisk of World War II and helped to uplift the spirits having a national hero fight for patriotism. He wore the colors of the American flag, and even had his vibranium shield in the same motif. By using his war tactics, his enhanced speed, strength, and stamina, he was able to reach the peak of human potential. This made him a superhero for years and years to come.
Additionally, he was the team leader of the world renowned comic book group “The Avengers”. Although Captain America retired around that time, he took up the leader role and it became his revival back into the superhero realm. Captain America has a timeless position as an American hero. With his abilities from the Super Serum and Vita-Ray treatment, he ages slowly due to his body’s resistance to fatigue.
